Textbook Verbraucherinformatik (Open Access)

We are delighted that our textbook ‘Verbraucherinformatik – Grundlagen und Anwendungsfelder der digitalen Konsumgesellschaft’ was published by Springer Verlag a few days ago. The book is published under an open access licence (CC-BY 4.0 International) and can be downloaded free of charge here: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-662-68706-2
The book provides a comprehensive overview of the digital consumer landscape and conveys central basic concepts and topics of consumer informatics using practical examples. It discusses topics such as the digitalisation of households and markets as well as issues of digital consumer protection and sustainability, fairness and responsibility in the design of digital technologies.
